Experts in the chicken world, Eric & Lisa Hammons will discuss all you need to know about backyard chickens and healthy egg production.

The Porter's use innovative methods to supply restaurants, food banks, and local customers with fresh produce year-round. Shannon will discuss how to raise tomatoes successfully, from composting to fertilizing.

The Brown's are a true homesteading family of 11! Mom & daughter will be talking about the benefits of goat milk and demonstrating how to craft natural, skin-loving body products using milk from Nubian dairy goats.

A homestead family of 6, the Underwood's operate a first-generation regenerative farm and run a farm market store. Taylor will be talking about how they started homesteading, as well as the benefits of a dairy cow on the farm.

What is regenerative farming and why is it necessary for our health and our land? Bubba Miller will give an overview of what regenerative farming is and why he chose this method. He will cover the benefits of regenerative farming and the differences from traditional farming.

Estes Farms is a family-owned farm in North Central Louisiana. John & Brooke will be bringing essential information about produce nutrients and using hydroponic for food productivity.

A regenerative farm in the hills of north Louisiana, the Scarboroughs grow 95% pf their own food, and has provided quality food for their community for over a decade! John will be talking about livestock diversity and the benefits of nutritionally dense meat from a regenerative farm.

Food is medicine! Amy Miller, a healthcare provider and advocate for natural health, will explore the statistics of chronic disease and how the western diet contributes to America's health crisis. Her best medical advise? Eat more of what God made and less of what man made!

Come enjoy "a taste of Louisiana at a Southern pace" as the Master Chef of Bayou BBQ prepares lamb using three different recipes and offers a taste testing of each! Benjy & Kelsie Lewis will use a live lamb to show the different cuts, discuss the nutritional value of lamb meat, and the differences from beef.

My Favorite Honey

The only master craftsman beekeeper in Louisiana, Amy Weeks has an impressive portfolio. A local girl now working in the Auburn University bee lab and research department, she began keeping bees in 2005, starting with only 2 hives.  Amy will be sharing all about bee keeping, from beginning to more advanced topics.

Sourdough bread may be the first step some take in trying the homestead journey. Sarah & Amanda are two stay-at-home moms who have a successful business making sourdough and much more. They will be sharing their secrets on successful sourdough, from creating a good starter, to never giving up!

Are you an amateur at canning foods? Or have you been doing it the same way for 30 years? Stephanie, aka the Pickling Lady, is the expert in old and new ways of preserving food. She will discuss water bathing, pressure cooking, supplies you might find handy, and much more!
